I already talked about it last year, so you can just see here what I wrote about it back then.
Euro Top Tech getting better and fewer people unsubscribing
Very cool stuff! 10% is very low considering that this a job search tool (and job searches are seasonal).
Euro Top Tech Community
Very bullish on this.
It might be one of the reasons that helped lower churn.
I might have finally found a way to scale the level of results I get people in my coaching program.
People in my coaching program get insane results.
Like 90% of the ones I accept these days get significantly better jobs
70k job to 100-150k remote ones
50k onsite one to 100k remote one
60k remote one to 300k onsite one
It’s significant. And the rate 80-90% is not made up. If you’re in the Discord, you can ask people who come from the coaching program there, and ask how many of the people who joined the coaching got results.
But the problem is that I’ve found that I only want to work with 2/3 people each month.
If I work with more, my calendar starts to get filled up more than I’d like, and then I don’t have enough time to product good free content, expand on youtube (2026 goal), improve Euro Top Tech and other new SaaS (like the recently launched Remote Compass).
Group coaching I’ve never been in love with the idea. Moreover, some time ago I tried launching it and I didn’t get the right applications for it. So I dropped it.
In the new Euro Top Tech Discord community, though, things have been changing.
The CV-reviews channel is already a great place and source of info for people to join, look at other people’s CV reviews, learn from the feedback, triangulate with the CV guide they already have access to with their sub.
It’s also going to be a good place to remind people to look at their job search more holistically, taking the time to build a good strategy and handle LinkedIn game properly, for example.
All stuff that it’s obvious to me, and that I try to explain in my guides, but which might be hard or non-obvious for people to integrate in their search.
Of course, my engagement levels in the community will stay limited: I won’t be able to review all CVs that get there, especially after I’ve already reviewed many and people can already improve theirs without needed targeted feedback from me.
But nonetheless I can stay quite active as of now, given it’s not too many people.
Even supporting initiatives like real life meetups like this
Also people exchanging referrals
Or highlighting that their teams are hiring
And me myself helping with opportunities from my network
Cool shit!
Something much needed in the European tech landscape.
