New Six-Figure Remote Jobs on Euro Top Tech Jobs

Chilling while getting paid six figures?
That seems what companies like Buffer are offering:
Fully remote
$150-200k comp
4-day work week
Regular IC roles
Pretty dope!
It’s the first time I see something like this.
Of course, landing such roles will be competitive: they’re so good, that smart and capable people will be competing against you to land them.
So you need to be a good engineer and know what you’re doing in your job search, to land them.
But it’s the first time that I see such good WLB roles for top engineers.
The norm I think it’s targeting top engineers for top-paying and demanding roles (big tech, OpenAI type companies, etc).
This Buffer framework reminds me of Google early days
When companies wanted to hire creative and smart people, pay them well, and let them create in a WLB-friendly environment.
Maybe the new companies to offer such environments won’t be big tech companies - which are now in their ‘productivity era’, with big layoffs and growing performance pressure - but small, remote-friendly and profitable SaaS companies.
Seems like a good deal!
