Here's how much it'd cost me to live in Zurich vs Warsaw
To maintain my lifestyle, I'd need:
~ 6k €/m in Zurich
~ 3.5k €/m in Warsaw
You can see the numbers' breakdown in this picture:
What you'll notice is that my lifestyle in Warsaw is “fancier” than in Zurich, even if cheaper.
🌮 Dining out and ordering: 7+ times/week 🇵🇱 vs less than 5/month🇨🇭
🏋Personal trainer + massages + cleaning service + more entertainment activities 🇵🇱
🛀 Ordering high-quality, organic grocery from Wolt 🇵🇱 vs going to the supermarket🇨🇭
Some trade-offs:
Close-by mountains, lake and nature in Zh vs big parks in Wwa
Restaurants that close at 10pm in Zh vs bustling nightlife in Wwa
Older and/or nerdier crowd in Zh vs younger and outgoing in Wwa
Better air and water quality in Zh vs big city amenities in Wwa
Some advantages of Zurich:
Stable and reliable democracy
Geopolitically safer than Poland
World-class healthcare and infrastructure
World-class airport and travel connections
Which one would you take, if your income was remote?
Zurich, Warsaw, or something else entirely?

Is that cost of living for you only? So it's for 1 person, not a family. Right?
Why did you choose Warsaw?
It's the most boring big city in Poland
You can choose Wrocław, where you have mountains in 1h by car, and you have Berlin & Prague in 4h by car/bus. With lower costs of living, but with good infrastructure, less traffic & closer to the Western Europe.
Or you can choose Kraków, with even bigger mountains nearby, with great hisotry city, and also lower prices in comparison with Warsaw.
The same with Gdansk, where you'll have the sea.
I can't get why people choose Warsaw.
