As promised in a recent article
Here’s the full Q3 review for my business
(Euro Top Tech SaaS platform + Six-Figure Euro Tech Careers Coaching)
After Q2, I did a Q2 Recap, sharing wins and losses of April to June, benchmarked against my 2026 goals, set at the end of last year.
Tl;dr:
Q2 did only +1.3% compared to Q2 2025
Against my 2025 quarterly avg it did +12%, still short of the +20% target for 2026
This left H1 2026 about 9% behind where it needed to be for the yearly goal
What about Q3
+71% compared to Q3 2025
+80% against my 2025 quarterly avg, way above the +20% target
Jan to Sep 2026 is +30% compared to the same months of 2025
This takes 2026 from about 9% behind (after H1) to about 11% ahead (after 9 months) of where it needs to be for the yearly goal
Best quarter ever, and in a Q3 (summer months, usually having fewer sales 🎉 🥳
As I joked on X, that probably means I should get my Italian citizenship revoked 😆 (as everything is usually stopped/closed in Italy during summer)
Every month in Q3 beat the one before:
The funny part: September was also one of my lowest work output months since I started the business 😅 Feels like the compounding of all the work done so far, same as I wrote last quarter.
And with that, 2026 has already made more than the whole of 2025, with a full quarter still to go.
In the last recap I wrote that Q3 could be “a sort of payoff quarter after 2+ years of building this business”, and that only time would tell.
Well, time told 😁
Same as last time, I don’t take the +20% goal all that seriously. It’s a small benchmark to have fun around. But going from 9% behind to 11% ahead in one quarter feels nice.
Where the growth came from
Coaching went up
more clients than 2 or 3 a year ago
Prices went up in August: 1300 eur/mo for the full program, 1000 eur/mo for the lightweight one
Most importantly, more clients landing top roles, which brings in more people through word of mouth.
Euro Top Tech grew too (although a bit slower)
Q3 was a big shipping quarter for Euro Top Tech:
One membership, everything unlocked: €29 monthly, €99 for a 9 month search, €119 for a year
AI Career Lab became six tools that work as one system (full rewind here)
An AI coach trained on my 1:1 coaching, included in the membership
Job alerts and a weekly digest, so new matching jobs and your next steps come to your inbox
On the job boards: a minimum comp filter for big tech, plus relocation support and visa sponsorship tags
The free 2026 European Tech Compensation Report and a new research library
The platform is a more long-term play, and the “backend” of my coaching program.
A lot of my Q4 work will go into improving the platform, trying to make it go next levels on the fundamentals: job quality, location classification, salary estimates, UX and responsiveness.
As well as on making the additional, “complex” features added in Q3 (to “replicate for cheap” my coaching work) easier to understand and use, to actually make people land jobs (instead of just having them apply to them with no result).
What didn’t go as well
The newsletter went quiet for 20 days in September, between a week of vacation in Italy and two weeks relocating to Lugano.
Q4 started well
A good coaching batch, a nice EuroTopTech start
To hit the +20% goal for 2026, Q4 now needs less than half of what Q3 did
Q4 is also my favorite time of the year to lock in 🍂
I’ll just keep building.
On a less serious note: the summer was mostly work, and September was mostly the move from Zurich to Lugano 🇨🇭🌴, with Milan 1h20m away by train (here’s how a weekend there went).
The full story of the move will get its own article (coming soon!). Meanwhile, on my ig you can see some of it 😊
That’s all for today :)
